Google has selected 20 AI-first startups from more than 2,500 applications for the 2026 Google for Startups Accelerator: India. The Google for Startups Accelerator: India is a three-month, equity-free programme designed for Seed to Series A startups developing AI-native products and foundational technologies. Through the programme, participating startups will receive mentorship from Google experts, technical support, access to artificial intelligence and cloud resources, and strategic guidance to help scale their businesses.
According to Google, the initiative is intended to support the next generation of Indian AI innovators while enabling startups to build globally competitive products powered by advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The 2026 cohort reflects the expanding strength of India's artificial intelligence ecosystem and the growing adoption of AI-driven solutions across multiple industries.
The accelerator programme will run from June to September 2026 and will conclude with a Demo Day, where the participating startups will present their innovations to investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners.
